Unblock Your Account
Use this page to restore access when your account has been locked for security reasons. You will need three pieces of information:
the email verification code sent to you, the answers to your previously configured security questions, and the unblock (security) code that was shown when you saved your security questions.
What you can do on this page
- 1. Enter the Email Verification Code that was just sent to your email.
- 2. Select each saved security question and enter the matching answer.
- 3. Enter the Security Code (unblock code) that was generated when you set your security questions.
- 4. Click Unblock My Account to validate all details and restore access.
Page layout
- Email Verification Code — short code sent to your inbox immediately before you reached this page.
- Security Questions — three dropdowns and answer fields; select the same questions you originally chose.
- Security Code — the unblock code displayed when you initially saved security questions.
- Controls — Unblock My Account to submit, and Sign Out to cancel.
Typical flow
- Open the verification email and copy the code that was sent to you.
- Enter the Email Verification Code on this page.
- Select your three security questions and type the exact answers you saved previously.
- Enter the Security Code (unblock code) you were issued when you created your security questions.
- Click Unblock My Account. If all inputs match the stored values the account will be unblocked and you can sign in.
Important behaviour
- 1. The unblock process requires three matching items. Missing or incorrect items will prevent unblocking.
- 2. The email verification code is short-lived; enter it promptly after receipt.
- 3. The unblock (security) code is issued once when security questions were saved — keep it secure and accessible.
- 4. Support cannot unblock your account without the correct answers and the unblock code, so store these details safely.
UI feedback and controls
- Error Panel — displays validation and server-side errors if codes or answers do not match.
- Success Message — confirms that the account was unblocked.
- Sign Out — cancels the flow and returns you to the sign-in area.
Troubleshooting
- 1. If the email code is not received, check spam/junk folders and ensure the email address shown is correct.
- 2. If a question or answer appears incorrect, remember answers must match the stored value exactly (consider punctuation and spacing).
- 3. If the unblock code is lost, follow organisation recovery procedures — account recovery may be restricted and support may not be able to help without verification details.
- 4. If repeated attempts fail, note any error messages and contact support with timestamps; do not share codes or answers in unsecured channels.
Security best practices
- Store your unblock code in a secure password manager or offline vault.
- Choose security question answers that are memorable but not publicly discoverable.
- Do not email or message your unblock code or security answers to anyone.
- After regaining access, consider enabling Two-Factor Authentication for stronger protection.
