Accept Invitation / Invitation Details

This page displays the details for a single invitation sent to your account. You can accept the invitation to gain access to the specified application/business, or reject it. The page provides clear timestamps, sender information and uses confirmation dialogs and toast feedback to prevent accidental actions.

What you can do on this page

• 1. See who sent the invitation and which business and application it applies to.
• 2. View when the invitation was sent and when it will expire.
• 3. Accept the invitation to add the shared application to your Shared With Me view.
• 4. Reject the invitation — this action requires confirmation and cannot be undone.
• 5. See immediate on-page feedback (success toast or error panel) after performing actions.

Page layout

The page is a compact detail view:

• Invitation From — who issued the invitation.
• Business — the owning entity that shared access.
• Application — the specific app being shared.
• Invitation Sent / Expiring — UTC timestamps for audit and expiry behaviour.
• Actions — Accept and Reject buttons at the bottom of the details panel.

Accepting the invitation

• 1. Click Accept to accept the invitation.
• 2. On success, a green confirmation panel appears with guidance and a link to Shared With Me.
• 3. If acceptance fails, an error is shown in the standard ErrorPanel with details you can use to troubleshoot or report to support.

Rejecting the invitation

The reject action is destructive and requires you to confirm. A confirmation modal is shown so you can cancel if you clicked by mistake.

• 1. Click Reject to open the confirmation dialog.
• 2. Confirm to permanently reject the invitation; this action cannot be undone.
• 3. After rejection, you will see success feedback or an error panel if something goes wrong.

UI feedback and controls

• 1. ErrorPanel — displays operation errors and guidance at the top of the page.
• 2. GreenPanel / success message — shown when an invite is accepted to confirm access and provide next steps.
• 3. Toast notifications — short messages for transient success states.
• 4. Confirmation modal — prevents accidental rejection of invitations.

Important behaviours

• 1. Invitations may expire — if the expiry date has passed you will not be able to accept the invite.
• 2. Accepting the invitation adds the shared application to your Shared With Me area; follow the link in the success message to view it.
• 3. Rejecting removes the invitation for your account and typically prevents future acceptance for that invitation token.

Troubleshooting

• 1. If the Accept button does nothing, check for client-side JavaScript errors or a stale session; try refreshing the page and signing in again.
• 2. If acceptance fails with a server error, review the ErrorPanel message and contact support with the invitation ID and timestamps shown on this page.
• 3. If the invitation shows as expired but you believe it should be valid, contact the sender to re-issue the invitation.

Security & audit

• 1. Keep records of who issued invitations and when; timestamps displayed here are useful for audits.
• 2. Rejected invitations are recorded and should be treated as an explicit denial of access for that token.
